Trophy Meet-up: On 25 April the 2nd edition

On Tuesday, April 25th, the 2nd Trophy Meet-up2023 will take place at 17:00 at the Antoniadou Amphitheatre of the Athens University of Economics and Business. This event will mark the opening of the TrophyTrophy 2023 activities in Athens. The Trophy Meet-ups aim to develop a dialogue on agri-food innovation and technology in Greece.

The Trophy Meet-ups highlight the opportunities, trends, best practices, as well as the prospects of the of the agri-food industry , in collaboration with market companies, research institutions and universities. In particular, the guests of the 2nd Trophy Meet-up will be Mr. Georgios Kouretas, Professor of Athens University of Economics and Business and Director of the Postgraduate Program in Business Administration-MBA, Mr. Panagiotis Zoumboulakis, Associate Professor of the University of West Attica and Chairman of the Department of Food Science and Technology, Mr. Theocharis Moysiadis, Business Development Manager, Future Intelligence Ltd, Mr. Vassilis Stenos, founder and CEO, Solmeyea, Ms. Sofia Drakopoulou and Mrs. Anastasia Kritiko, co-founders, Track4Value.

Participating students, researchers and startups will present their ideas and projects. They will also participate in short workshops on idea generation and innovation based on the topics to be discussed. At the same time they will have networking opportunities.

The 2nd Trophy Meet-up is co-organized by the organization New Georgia New Generation, the American Farm School of Thessaloniki and Perrotis College, the MBA and the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation of the Athens University of Economics and Business, and the University of West Attica. It is implemented in collaboration with the Agricultural University of Athens, the National Centre for Research and Technological Development and the University of Macedonia. The Stavros Niarchos Foundation is the founding donor of New Georgia New Generation.

TrophyTop

The Trophy Meet-ups are an initiative within the TrophyTrophy project. The aim is to develop dialogue on agri-food innovation and technology and more broadly on the digital transformation of the sector in Greece. TrophyTrophy is implemented by the organisation New Georgia New Generation through the founding donation of the SNF.

The New Georgia New Generation Organization will implement a series of Trophy Meet-ups that will serve as a platform to connect and inform all stakeholders about innovation and technology in the local and national agri-food ecosystem. At the same time, Trophy Meet-ups are tools for meeting and networking people with complementary skills and interests, for presenting the latest trends in innovation and technology, as well as for the interaction of the productive fabric of the economy with new dynamic ventures.
