Share

Until the end of July this year, people will be able to take holidays in tourist accommodation on the Public Employment Service's Register of Providers ( DYPA ), the holders of cheques under the Social Tourism Programme, in the period 2022/23.

It is reminded that the beneficiaries of cheques, who will not activate their cheque by 31 July 2023, will not be entitled to participate in the next two social tourism programmes, for the periods 2023/24 and 2024/25.

Beneficiaries and beneficiaries can spend up to 6 nights in a tourist accommodation chosen from the "Register of Providers" of DYPA by direct agreement with the provider.

Within the framework of the Social Tourism programme, especially in Leros, Lesvos, Chios, Kos and Evros, up to 10 nights can be spent free of charge, while in the municipalities Istiaiaia - Edipsos and Mantoudiou - Limni - Ag. Anna of B. Evia and Samos, up to 12 nights can be booked free of charge.

The enhanced social tourism programme provides for reduced or zero private participation in the cost of overnight stays in tourist accommodation, but also increased subsidy rates for participating businesses.
