The Impact Hub Athens and the Foundation google.org are joining forces to empower the entrepreneurial community in the Greek periphery.

In particular, they are addressed to:

• entrepreneurship support bodies (incubators, incubators, etc.) and
• organisations that manage and build communities operating in areas of Greece with less than 100,000 inhabitants

They are also offering a comprehensive financial support programme of 150 million which will bedistributed to 3-5 business structures that will develop projects on environmental sustainability.

The deadline for submitting the application is 25 May 2023.

Objective of the action

The aim of the action is to expand and strengthen the network that supports with:

• educational tools
• mentoring
• empowerment and
• networking the business groups that serve the idea of social economy and innovation in areas of the Greek periphery

The development of innovation in rural, island and mountain areas is a topic that is now attracting the interest of policy makers, researchers and entrepreneurs. Such initiatives are becoming vital, especially when they relate to activities that address the climate crisis.
